REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy. Experience: Appropriate Porter journey in a public fitness facility. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work shifts, consisting of nightshift, weekends and Public Holidays. Willingness to manage corpses (deceased bodies). Willingness to work additional time when required. Must be of sober habits, bodily in shape to raise patients/corpse
from/onto beds, trolleys, vehicles, wheelchairs and heavy equipment. Willingness to cowl shifts in absence of colleagues. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good interpersonal and conversation skills. Knowledge of secure contamination prevention methods. Ability to work below strain unsupervised, and in a crew context.

DUTIES : Deliver specimens to laboratories and make sure a secure and hygienic work environment. Check and substitute gas cylinders in wards/Oxygen bank/treatment areas and help with transferring of scientific tools to and from rooms. Accompany taking walks sufferers and transport sitting/non-walking sufferers per trolley or wheelchair between wards and cure areas. Take duty for the transportation of corpses from wards to the mortuary and operate applicable obligations in the mortuary which consist of mortuary registers. Safe transport of sufferers on trolleys and wheelchairs to and from different
departments/wards and aid with loading of sufferers in/out of ambulances/vehicles. Responsible for the cleanliness of trolleys, wheelchairs, and working areas and record any defects to trolleys/wheelchairs to the supervisor and reply to requests from wards/clinics.
