FOOD SERVICES SUPERVISOR
SALARY : R201 093 per annum
CENTRE : Karl Bremer Hospital, Northern/Tygerberg Sub-structure
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum instructional qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/ grade nine (Std. 7) or equal qualification. Experience: Appropriate supervisory journey in a large-scale Hospital Food Service environment. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public vacation trips if it is required. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of hygiene and security approaches in an industrial Food Service Unit. Problem solving, selection making and time administration skills. Computer literacy and the capability to create spreadsheets, phrase archives and shows in Microsoft Office. Knowledge and abilities concerning supervising the operation of an industrial Food Service Unit.
DUTIES : Supervise operational meals offerings and the milk kitchen. Supervise hygiene and occupational fitness and safety. Supervise the upkeep and manage of equipment. Supervision of staff. Support Financial Management (saving measures, inventory levels, recordkeeping).
