SPAR ASSISTANT
Introduction
SPAR Lowveld, a division of The SPAR Group Ltd. is recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager – positioned in Nelspruit.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the Supermarket/Floor Department, Fresh Department (Bakery, Butchery, Fruit and Vegetables and Take Away) profitability and day to day operations. Manage shopping for for the store. Ensure the Supermarket and Fresh method and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are carried out in accordance to agreed requirements to supply on income and profitability targets. Manage in shop things to do to decorate Customers’ buying experience.
Key Performance Areas:
Manage and assessment the crew and departments key overall performance areas
Manage Efficient vary and inventory management
Management of suppliers of product and equipment
Ensure top notch carrier to customers
Manage adherence to the implementation of Food Safety and OHS requirements
Management and appreciation of systems, policies, and fashionable working procedures
Execute plans to keep extraordinary compliance and operational standards
Relieve Store Manager when his on annual leave
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric
A retail qualification would be advantageous
3-4 years’ ride in a senior save administration position
Passion for entrepreneurial thinking
Must be assertive and gorgeous in selection making
Efficient in constructing strategic relationships with group of workers and customers
Excellent conversation skills
A self-starter
Inherent Job Requirements:
Be handy to work irregular hours in consideration of operational demands
Valid SA driver’s license
Own transport
Be organized to relocate
