LAW GRADUATES: One (1) month at a particular police station;
Stipend: R4500-00 per month

TRAINING PHASE: Basic Training Phase
MATRICULANTS / GRADUATES IN OTHER SPECIALIZATIONS: Eight (8) months Basic Training at a distinctive SAPS Academy
Stipend: R4500-00 per month
LAW GRADUATES: Six (6)) months Basic Training at a special SAPS Academy
Stipend: R4500-00 per month

After profitable completion of the Induction and the Basic Training Phases, the police trainee shall be appointed as a member of the Service present process the Workplace Exposure Programme (12 months).
