FOOD SERVICES AID (X4 POSTS)

SALARY : R131 265 per annum
CENTRE : Tygerberg Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy. Experience: Appropriate trip in a large-scale Industrial Food Service Unit. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Ability to work in giant scale freezers and bloodless rooms. Physically sturdy to raise heavy objects and be on their ft the whole day. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to characteristic in a crew and to work below pressure. Ability to put together meals in accordance to standardised recipes. Knowledge of National Food Service Guidelines. Knowledge of simple cleansing and preservation of equipment. Good verbal exchange skills.

DUTIES : Prepare, dish up and serve meals for everyday and exclusive diets. Assist with the receipt, storage and inventory manipulate of meals supplies. Follow and keep hygiene and security directives together with the use of equipment and equipment, washing of crockery and cooking utensils. Assist with the casual in-service coaching of new employees. Attend prescribed education courses.
