SALARY : R104 073 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirements: Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Experience: Appropriate ride in cleansing hospitals or fitness environment. Inherent necessities of the job: Ability to lift/move heavy objects and working at heights requiring the use of a stepladder. Willingness to work shifts, public holidays, weekends, overtime, and night time duty. Relief in different departments when necessary. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Communication abilities in at least two of the three legit languages of the Western Cape. Good conversation and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES : Responsible for cleansing obligations i.e., sweeping, dusting, emptying packing containers daily, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing, cleansing windows, deep cleansing of toilets, conventional refuse and clinical waste coping with and preservation of established neatness and hygiene (adhere to OSH and IPC policies). Perform affected person meal servings and cleansing of crockery and cutlery (according to HACCP concepts and meals provider unit policies). Effective use, protection and safekeeping of resources and equipment. Attend in-service education and render guide to the supervisor with regards to commonplace housekeeping responsibilities Handling of linen (soiled lined, soiled lined, easy linen, counting of linen, packing linen room, etc.)
