FOOD SERVICES SUPERVISOR

SALARY : R147 459 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum instructional qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) /grade 9 (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate Food Service trip in an Industrial Food Services Unit, inside a Hospital setting. Appropriate supervisory experience. Inherent necessities of the job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to work shifts (weekends and public holidays). Competencies (knowledge/skills): Sound conversation (read, communicate and write) and numerical competencies in at least two of the three reputable languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge and capabilities with regards to the operational approaches in an Industrial Food Services Unit. Knowledge of WCHD Food Service Policy and monitoring process, hygiene, occupational health, HACCP and protection concepts and the incumbent need to be in a position to work in accordance to regulations and requirements and meet deadlines. Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), (Attach proof or point out it in the CV). Ability to effectively multi-task, feature independently and underneath pressure.

DUTIES : Implement popular menu, manufacturing planning and right processes for receipt, storage, preparation, portioning and distribution of food. Implement, hold and efficaciously supervise protection and protection measures as nicely as hygiene and contamination control.
