FOOD SERVICES AID

SALARY : R104 073 per annum
CENTRE : Wesfleur Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Experience: Appropriate trip in a medical institution Food Service Unit. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Ability to work in giant scale freezers and bloodless rooms. Physically sturdy to elevate heavy objects and be on their ft the complete day. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to characteristic in a crew and to work underneath pressure. Ability to prepare meals in accordance to standardised recipes. Knowledge of National Food Service Guidelines. Knowledge of simple cleansing and protection of equipment. Ability to read, communicate and write in at least two of the three legit languages of the Western Cape.

DUTIES : Prepare, dish up and serve meals for everyday and one-of-a-kind diets. Assist with the receipt, storage, and inventory manage of meals supplies. Follow and hold hygiene and protection directives consisting of the use of equipment and equipment, washing of crockery and cooking utensils. Assist with the casual in-service coaching of new employees.
