REQUIREMENTS : ABET stage four or NQF degree 1 to three with no experience. Knowledge of Food offerings & meals preparation, Operation of meals processing equipment, Basic fitness & protection measures, Health environment, Hygiene & bacterial contamination manipulate measures. Basic literacy, Ability to function meals processing equipment, Measure accurately.

DUTIES : Render catering services: Follow menus and distinctive food regimen plans. Prepare elements for ingredients e.g. cleansing and slicing vegetables, put together meat, hen and fish. Process/cook organized components for consumption. Serve organized meals in the applicable crockery. Ensure that parts served are in accordance to the stipulated dietary allowances. Pack meals transport trolleys and supply to applicable areas in the fitness institution. Ensure that the right meals are delivered to the right areas in the institution. Maintain secure and hygienic environment: Collect used cutlery and crockery from wards and different carrier areas. Check that the right variety of cutlery and crockery have been lower back to the kitchen. Wash and dry used equipment, cutlery and crockery. Perform high-quality assessments to make sure that the cleansing manner has been carried out in accordance to standard. Pack and shop easy meals processing equipment. Clean the meals processing place at ordinary intervals at some stage in the day. Perform everyday exams to set up whether or not protection and sanitation requirements are being adhered to. Report unhygienic and hazardous state of affairs to the supervisor.
