REQUIREMENTS : National Senior Certificate. Firefighter 1 certificate. Hazmat Awareness and Operations. First Aid Level three or BAA. 0- two year’s applicable experience. Valid driver’s license. DUTIES : Prevention and combating of a fire: Render furnace prevention duties. Ensure compliance with hearth prevention regulations. Perform administrative duties referring to to furnace fighting. Maintain firefighting equipment. Conduct public attention workshops on hearth preventions. Provision of rescue services: Check fully rescue gear on every day basis. Recommend rescue equipment of provider to make sure that they are in appropriate working order. Participate in simulated emergency conditions on normal groundwork to get geared up for any emergency. Inspection of Runaway and Apron: Check overseas objects on the run-away. Inspect protection of the run-away. Check security of plane when landing or checking off. Marshaling of aircraft: Conduct standbys on plane refuelling. Attendance to gasoline spillages. Allocate parking bays and marshall aircrafts to their respective bays.
