Requirements

3 – 5 years Mechanical ride in each petrol and diesel vehicles
A right appreciation of Workshop consumables and car parts
A thorough perception of workshop environment
Driver’s license and personal transport essential
Own equipment is essential
Have Auto Electrical experience

Key responsibilities:

Services and repairs on all organisation Vehicles
Standby duties/ after hours
To do offerings on all Company Vehicles out of guarantee
Top do all repairs/maintenance on Company Vehicles effectively and instantly in conjunction with Transport Manager
To suggest Transport Manager / Technical Advisor (ordering Clerk) on all difficulties/ troubles if repairs / preservation can’t be done
Report all fundamental repairs required to the Transport Manager for approval
To take all Vehicles for a “test drive” after repairs / preservation have been done
To do standby repairs / upkeep after hours and over weekends (designated mechanics only)
To make certain that a listing of spares and brake pads / linings used on breakdowns e exceeded to the Transport Admin Assistant WEEKLY (standby Mechanics)
