REQUIREMENTS : A National Diploma in Engineering or applicable qualification. Three (3) years publish qualification technical Engineering experience. Valid driver’s license(attach copy). Compulsory registration with ECSA as an Engineering Technician. Knowledge and trip in challenge management, technical design and analysis. Research and development. Computer aided engineering applications. Problem solving, choice making, crew work, creativity, patron focal point and responsiveness. Good conversation abilities each (verbal and written).

DUTIES : Render technical offerings to the Directorate. Assist Engineers, Technologists and Associates in the appraisal of Business Plans and Technical Reports. Monitor the implementation of Infrastructure initiatives such as Regional Bulk Infrastructure Programme (RBIG) and Water Services Infrastructure Grant (WSIG) via conducting web site inspections; web page meetings; compilation and submission of development reports. Promote security in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. Evaluate present technical manuals, widespread drawings and techniques to contain new technology. Evaluate technical designs with specs and publish for approval with the aid of the applicable authority. Perform administrative and associated functions. Provide inputs into the budgeting procedure as required. Compile and put up expenditure reviews as required. Verify and certify invoices for charge of contractors and Public Service Providers. Maintain ideal documents and documentation for all initiatives to allow a easy audit. Provide and consolidate inputs to the infrastructure improvement operational plan.
