DRIVER (LIGHT DUTY VEHICLE)

SALARY : R104 073 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy. Experience: Appropriate journey in the transportation of body of workers and goods. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to be on standby and work overtime. Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license. Valid Public Driving Permit (PDP). Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of Transport Regulations, movements upkeep and inspections for defects on automobiles and Circular no4 of 2000. Ability to talk efficaciously in at least two of the three reliable languages of the Western Cape. Ability to receive accountability, responsibility, to work independently. Ability to study and apprehend avenue instructions and site visitors signs. Knowledge of routine, maintenance, Inspections for defects on vehicles.

DUTIES : Daily transport series and transport of goods, services, consumers and personnel, from one factor to another. Adhere to departmental codes and approaches by means of making sure correct and certain completion of logbooks, day out authorities and any different administrative obligations related with driving, deliveries and collections. Conduct pursuits maintenance, inspection of automobiles and well timed reporting of defects. Ensure that all automobiles are stored smooth and tidy. Perform and behavior minor preservation obligations when required.
