REQUIREMENTS : A B-Degree or NQF 7 qualification in Integrated Water Resources Management. Six (6) to ten (10) years’ ride in IWRM, Environment, Policy and Strategy Development, and Project Management. Five (5) years have to be at center / Senior Managerial level. A legitimate driver’s license (Attach a copy). Good grasp of hydrology and geo-hydrology. Knowledge ofyield calculations. Strategic potential and leadership. Programme and assignment management, Financial management, exchange management, understanding management, carrier transport innovation (SDI), hassle fixing and analysis, people administration and empowerment, customer orientation and consumer focus, communication, accountability and moral conduct.

DUTIES : The improvement of strategic and enterprise plans in safety of floor floor water. Ensure the implementation of WRM policies. Ensure the implementation of enterprise method for the component. Development of lengthy time period techniques for neighborhood reconciliation of water availabilities and requirements. Implement upkeep of the reconciliation techniques for all rivers. The series of water aid administration statistics statistics on floor and floor water. Implementation of the water use authorisation. Implementation of river eco-status monitoring programme. Support institution and monitoring of entities accountable for water aid management. Develop reconciliation techniques for all different cities in the Central, East, North and South planning areas. Develop WRM database for the component. Ensure that WR records is maintained. Ensure that applicable IT gadget is developed and maintained in storing data. Develop reconciliation and administration techniques for quite a number catchments. Develop water exceptional administration method for the catchments and rivers system. Ensures the protection of the water first-class administration techniques is developed for all catchments. Manage glide of water in rivers and catchments accordingly. Manage of a number stakeholders inside the sector. Implement fashions for reconciliation and allocation technique in Catchments. Update hydrology and yield evaluation of the all Rivers catchments inside the unique WRM boundaries. Manage Human Resources and promote transformation inside the directorate. Implement HR insurance policies and transformation imperatives. Manage price range and economic resources.
