REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic literacy and numeracy. Experience: Appropriate cleansing trip in a medical institution environment. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work shifts inclusive of night time duty, overtime, weekends, public vacation trips and remedy in different departments. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of simple cleansing and preservation of equipment. Ability to feature in a team and to work beneath pressure. Good verbal exchange and interpersonal abilities in at least two of the three reliable languages of the Western Cape.
DUTIES : General cleansing and protection of cleansing equipment. Dust, sweep, polish, scrub and mop floors/passages/furniture, empty dustbins, and kind dirty linen in accordance to right cleansing procedures. Effective use of cleaning retailers and stock. Responsible for frequent hygienic and secure environment. Handle cleansing equipment. Elementary inventory control.
