REQUIREMENTS : Adult schooling and coaching (AET/ABET) Level three or equal (Grade 7). Skills/Knowledge/Competence: Basic grasp of Policies (Batho Pele Principles, Patients Right Charter, Occupational Health and Safety, Six Priorities and National Core Standards. DUTIES : Cleaning of flooring (sweep, mop and buffing with cleansing machine). Cleaning of walls, windows, doors, window frames, bathrooms, toilets, dusting etc. cleaning corridors, public toilets, offices, clinics, entrances, stairs, fireplace escapes, lifts, passages, ready areas and carpets. Clean physique fluids (urine, blood & faeces) and vomit. Removal of commonplace and clinical waste. Cleaning boxes and
flattening of cardboard boxes. Adhere to the Healthcare waste administration coverage and contamination manage prescripts. Operate heavy obligation cleansing machines. Provide a easy and hygienic environment. Clean backyard (surrounding backyard the door of the Ward) by way of sweeping, choosing up papers, cigarette stumps and different objects daily. Report damaged cleansing machines and tools to Supervisor. Cleaning of gear and machines each day after use and shop it in a secure secured and lockable area.
