SALARY : R104 073 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy. (Attach proof) Experience: Appropriate trip as a cleaner in a Health Facility. Appropriate experience with the use of cleansing equipment, substances and detergents Appropriate contamination manipulate and occupational fitness and protection experience. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts (weekends and public holidays) and willingness to be educated and alleviation personnel in different departments as the want arises (CSSD, Workshop, Laundry, Kitchen) etc. Physically suit and in a position to raise and or pass heavy objects and supplies. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Fluency (read, communicate and write) in at least two of the three respectable languages of the Western Cape. Good Interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the right strategies of managing and disposal of refuse /waste merchandise and adherence to coverage and cleansing practices. Ability to function equipment and equipment. Knowledge of Legislation and insurance policies of the Department of Health applicable to medical practise.

DUTIES : General cleaning, housekeeping and protection (i.e. dust, sweep, polish, scrub, mop, easy windows/walls/equipment/machinery and refuse removal. Plan and organise cleansing of facility with accessible resources. Ensure positive Waste Management, Linen manage Laundry and Food services. Effective and environment friendly utilization and storage of cleansing fabric and equipment. Provide foremost guide to the supervisor and colleagues with standard housekeeping obligations and services. Adhering to generic hygienic and secure surroundings in phrases of requirements and procedures.
