SALARY : R147 459 per annum
CENTRE : Riversdale Hospital (Hessequa Sub- district)
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum academic qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std7). Experience: Appropriate trip in housekeeping and cleaning in a hospital, care or fitness facility. Inherent necessities of the job: Manage and grant frequent housekeeping and cleaning. Supervision and allocation of body of workers and delegation of functions. Management and ordering of stock. Ability to function bodily tasks, e.g. utilisation of cleansing equipment, managing of meals trollies, etc. Willingness to works shifts, weekends, public vacation trips and night time duty. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to read, talk and write in at least two of the three legit languages of the Western Cape. Supervisory skills, delegation of obligations and ideal utilisation of sub-ordinates. Ability to adhere to hygiene protection standards, consisting of Infection Prevention and Control. Ability to manipulate in-house hygiene. Understanding of clinic waste management, linen management, catering and time management. Plan personnel shift rosters. Do in-house coaching of housekeeping staff.
DUTIES : Supervision and allocation of personnel and delegation of functions. Management and
ordering of stock. Supervise, coordinate, control, train, delegate and look into the obligations of the Household Aids. Maintain a excessive preferred of hygiene and tidiness in the unit/institution. Order and manipulate inventory and kitchen/cleaning equipment. Provide meals and drink to sufferers and help them with taking it. Support nursing personnel with non-nursing functions. Maintain self-development and improvement of family staff. Develop and manipulate obligation rosters for housekeeping staff.
