HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

SALARY : R183 279 per annum
CENTRE : Khayelitsha District Hospital, Khayelitsha Eastern Sub Structure

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum instructional qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade nine (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate housekeeping ride in a medical institution environment. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work time beyond regulation when required, and 12-hour shifts (including night time duty, weekends and public holidays). Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to adhere to protection and hygienic standards. Ability to efficiently communicate. Knowledge of linen and inventory control. Knowledge of contamination control.

DUTIES : Responsible for universal control, performing and co-ordinating of duties associated to hygiene, cleaning, and linen offerings inside the ward. Ensure the wonderful use, renovation and secure retaining of elements and equipment. Supervision of family aid/ cleaners in the ward. Responsible for all administrative obligations related with supervision. Attend in-service education terrific to carrier delivery.
