DEPUTY DIRECTOR: MULTILATERALS AFRICA REF NO: DOT/HRM/2021/73

SALARY : R869 007 per annum (Level 12), All profits inclusive package
CENTRE : Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS : A Recognised NQF stage 6/7 (Diploma/ Bachelor-Degree) in Aviation associated Disciples, Administration, Transport Management, International Relations, Law (as regarded by way of SAQA with applicable trip of at least 5 (5) years of which three (3) years need to be at Assistant Director Level. Experience in global civil aviation. Note: The following will serve as sturdy recommendations: Sound understanding of the South African civil aviation sector; Knowledge and appreciation of the Department’s roles in multilateral boards dealing with civil aviation issues. In-depth information and grasp of South Africa’s position in facilitating air transport, safety, protection and environmental things on civil aviation inside the multilateral context. Sound grasp and know-how of national, regional and global civil aviation institutional frameworks and initiatives; Excellent Management skills; Exposure to representing South Africa at global forums; Good competencies in: presentation conversation (verbal and written); record writing, negotiation in multi-disciplinary environment; task and technique management, stakeholder management, hostilities management; economic and budgeting ; Knowledge of criminal things on civil aviation; Experience in enticing with all ranges of Government and personal stakeholders.

DUTIES : The profitable candidate will set up fantastic conversation with multilateral companies in Africa; Manage the State Letters from the multilateral organizations; facilitate best and timeous responses; Manage the relationship between the Department of Transport and multilateral civil aviation Organisation inside the Region and the Continent; Facilitate South Africa’s fulfilment of its civil aviation regional and continental obligations. Manage regional agreements and Protocols referring to to civil aviation; Coordinate the Preparatory Meetings for all regional and African conferences with applicable stake holders;Ensure that South Africa moves all the commitments made at global meetings; Coordinate the inputs from stakeholders and transmit to the multilateral corporations in line with the country’s position; Manage all different multilateral agreements and MOUs concerning to civil aviation in the region; Manage regional agreements and Protocols pertaining to to civil aviation; Promote the improvement of South Africa’s hobby bearing on to civil aviation in Africa.
