HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

SALARY : R147 459 per annum
CENTRE : Lentegeur Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum instructional qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate cleaning, Linen and housekeeping ride in a clinic environment. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Overtime and alleviation work in different wards to make certain nice provision of services. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Proper working information of all cleaning, linen and housekeeping policies, protocols, techniques and desirable work ethics. Good interpersonal, organising and decision-making skills. Knowledge of protection and hygiene standards. Ability to talk (verbally and written) in at least two of the three reliable languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of inventory/stock control. Ability to work in a group and independently.

DUTIES : Responsible for normal control, organising, performing and coordinating of duties associated to food, linen and hygiene services. Ensure the manipulate of cleaning, sorting, counting, unpacking and wash/sluice linen and affected person clothing. Effective administration with regard to ordering, utilization, manipulate of cleaning, family objects and equipment. Responsible for record-keeping and compilation of reports. Coordination of the provision of high-quality coaching excellent to provider delivery. Effectively control the utilisation and supervision of sources as properly associated HR matters.
