CLEANER (X2 POSTS)

SALARY : R104 073 per annum
CENTRE : Emergency Communication Centre – Tygerberg

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy. Experience: Appropriate ride as a cleaner in a medical institution or a fitness facility environment. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work shifts and on weekends. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to speak successfully in at least two of the three reputable languages of the Western Cape Good time management. Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.

DUTIES : Cleaning of all offices, frequent areas, kitchens and ablution services of the Emergency Communication Centre, along with the radio workshop, security desk and PHOC (Metro Control), consisting of deep cleansing and unique cleansing tasks. Provide a clean, protected and hygienic surroundings to forestall accidents and the unfold of contamination which consists of sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of floors, dusting, sprucing of flooring and furniture, emptying boxes daily, cleansing of windows, mild shades, partitions and all toilets, sluices and drains. Ensure that cleaning tools e.g., sprucing and scrubbing machines, mops, brooms, buckets etc. are smooth after utilization and securely stored. Ensure elimination of waste from constructing daily. Notify administration of deficiencies or repairs required. Relief in accordance to the wants of the service.
